Work Fit has a 15 year track record, delivering a diverse range of services to individuals and employers nationally.
Work Fit’s Chartered Physiotherapists work with employers to improve productivity and cut sickness absence by improving the overall fitness and flexibility of one of your most valuable assets – your staff.
Early intervention to tackle muscle and joint pain is crucial to maintaining productivity and work attendance. Work Fit's expert physiotherapy services, delivered on-site and at our Leeds clinics, provide fast, effective treatment and advice for both employees and employers.
Musculoskeletal pain is the most frequent reason for staff taking sick leave. At Work Fit we are experts in getting employees back to work early, using a combination of clinical treatment, exercises, graded exposure, work hardening, psychological support, phased return and workplace advice.
Work Fit’s range of clinic-based and specialist Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) focuses on the employee’s fitness for work. Our clear and unambiguous reports contain advice and recommendations designed to help employers understand and resolve fitness for work issues.
Following an assessment, our network of UK-wide Chartered Physiotherapists will:

FCE assessments can support employers who will need to resolve challenging situations such as redeployment, ill health, retirement or possible dismissal.
Work Fit FCE assessments are carried out by Glyn Smyth, Chartered Physiotherapist and Chartered Ergonomist, and are in line with the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE) guidelines of good practice.
